WOW. that has got to be the MOST INTENSE meditation i have ever attended. one hour of chants focusing upon the different chakras...Laroy, MY FAVORITE RA, who was sick before and had the chills, inadvertently transferred some of his energy to me, giving me the temporary version of his cold/flu. he's the most amazing person i have ever met, and i am totally thankful that we were able to cross paths on our separate journeys, however short-lived the time was. he's not coming back next semester, but rather, is going off to the forests of Maui in search of enlightenment via the Kundalini awakening. he introduced me to the GREAT de-stresser that is meditation and made me realise my eternally flowing chi...i have actually grown closer to him than anyone on this campus, EVEN Genji, however sweet he is (and he can be really sweet). i sincerely hope he reaches his goal. wow. that sounded really new agey and...positive. cali has really done numbers on me...
so...i did it. i told CMac. not exactly in person, but a note is as good a form of communication as any, ne?

i had planned to post SO MANY times these past two weeks...but...well...you know. two weekends ago...GOOD TIMES. 5 Dec...BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE. THANK YOU MK. i was lushin' it up HARDCORE last weekend. but for some reason MK decided to be an ASSHOLE to me without telling me why. ARGH. let's ADD to the stress, why don't we? and this week is FINALS WEEK...two finals yesterday and two more tomorrow...NOT OKAY. and somewhere in there was Lee's birthday...fool turned 20. we went go-kart racing at Boomers, and guess whom i see there? Caitlin and Jenna, two kids from back home (meaning DC, on the other coast) who were one year my senior. how fucking trippy was that? WOO. but today...besides totally being a squishy machine hat day, MK and i decided to talk about shit...and things are back to normal now. guards have been lowered, walls have been chipped away, and a few of the masks have started to fall away. MK might not be whom i expected...and that might be a good thing.

ah...back from break. and what did i do the entire time home? eat and sleep. literally. i slept all during the day, and woke up just to stuff leftovers in my mouth, only to pass out from the tryptophan overload. mmm...TURKEY. i did go out once on fri. to Nation with Eliot. it was okay times. the first few house DJs were pretty good, and there was one d 'n' b DJ who was sick, but the rest was blah. and the random pepper spray blast didn't help either. but i am glad i did get out of the house. the weirdest thing about my whole trip home was that i totally became college sick. i missed my grungy dorm and traversing the campus at all hours of the night, wreaking havoc wherever i went. i just think i missed my freedom from the parental units.
random note: on my way back to Pitzer, i got my FAVORITE lighter confiscated because the security people said it could be manipulated to become some sort of flame thrower. ARGH.
